Action for Pune Development(APD) successfully completed its second activity- Helmet Awareness Program on 18th July 2012, and the activity received a huge response from commuters and Pune Traffic Police.
We did this activity in coordination with the Pune Traffic Police and we really thank Pune Traffic Police for all the help they provided us with.
All members assembled at Sambhaji Police Station at 10:00 AM Sharp, and as per the planning, Hon.Sir Shri Vishwas Pandhare, DCP, Pune Traffic Police inaugurated the activity at 10:30 AM and spoke few words with the members, guiding us for our future.
After the inauguration and Press Meet and felicitation of our Honorary Board of Directors Mr.Yogesh Shah, Mrs.Shah, Mrs.Swati Pantasachiv, Mr.Santosh Bihani, Mrs.Pankaja Khanzode and Advocate Sri Nandkumar Shinde.
After we were done with the inauguration, we distributed ourselves, to go to our respective spots, as planned earlier.
We conducted our activity in the following Spots:
1) Swargate (Jedhe) Chowk.
2) University Circle.
3) Alka Talkies Chowk.
4) Khandoji Baba Chowk.
5) Nal Stop.
6) Goodluck Cafe Chowk.
We distributed Pamplets which said
"डोके भिजू नये म्हणून छत्री हवी,
